Different professions have their networking sports of choice - it may be the traditional golf, Barack Obamas's favoured basketball, yachting, but in the web, indoor climbing seems to be the sport of choice, with well known adherents like Kevin Rose and Daniel Burka of Digg, Tantek Çelik.
Whether you've climbed the Arapiles, or wouldn't know a carabina from a carona (that's the thing with the lemon attached), here's your chance to climb with fellow web folks during web week.
So, if you are an avid climber, stopped climbing years ago, or have never climbed at all, sign up and get along to Web Week's social climbing event.
If you're a beginner, or need a refresh, you'll get a belaying a safety lesson.
At the end of the session, we'll head down the road for a quiet drink.
This event was a great success last year - very much looking forward to seeing a few more folks get along this year.
Cost: $26 for entry and equipment, $16 for entry only (if you have your own gear).
Payment can just be sorted out directly with the venue on the day, but please register so we'll know to expect you!
